The Society has set up an integrated facility including the following:

WEATHER STATION

The society has set up a electronic weather station to guide growers in disease and pest control. Weather determines the disease and pest incidence in Grapes. A timely forecasting of disease can reduce cost of pesticides spraying, & improve the effectiveness of pesticide spray by timely application. Hence reduces the residues of pesticides in the grapes

Also the readings of the Evapotranspiration will give helping hand in irrigation management, as exact requirement of water per plant can be fulfill as per the need of the developmental stages, through drip irrigation.

With the help of weather station, calculation of the degree-days become easy, which help farmer to decide the pruning dates and also harvesting dates, after physiological maturity of the plant.

All these collectively help for increasing the economical yield of export quality grapes.

DIGITAL DISPLAY BOARD

For increasing the efficient utilization of the data recorded through the weather station, it is necessary to have a display board, which will show the daily weather parameters on it. It can be easily understand by the farmer as soon as he enters in the society.

So the society has developed a Digital Display Board. This displays the data recorded through the instrument of the weather station, viz., temperature, humidity, brightness period, rainfall, percent disease infection of Downy mildew, Powdery mildew and Anthracnose, evapotranspiration along with daily water need by grapes per acre according to development stages and degree days.

H) ANSWERING MACHINE:

All these facilities are helpful to the farmer residing in the vicinity of the society. So for the benefit of the farmer living far from the society, some facility should wants to be created. With this view, society has developed the facility of Data Answering Machine i.e. all weather data is made available to the farmer on a single phone call. A farmer away (may Taluka, District, State, Country) from the society can get whole data through a single phone call.

CULTIVATION NOTE BOOK:

The society has provided a note book to each grower equipped with list of permitted pesticides, banned pesticides, biofertilisers, bio-pesticides, irrigation, fertigation & hormones application required to be applied schedule in different growth stages. There is useful information about EUREPGAP & Nature Choice . There is ample space for recording of daily dosage of pesticide, fertilizers and irrigation requirement.

MEETING HALL

Society has builded a meeting hall to held the lectures, meetings and seminars. Members get latest technology information about grape cultivation and general

information. The lectures are arranged by calling scientist of NRC Grapes, Pune and experts in grape field for best quality grape production.

LABORATORY:

Society has constructed a laboratory to get members the information about actual requirement of plant for major nutrient by analyzing soil, water Petiole , Bud Testing & fertilizers and uptake by plant by analysing petioles and accordingly the dose of fertilizers are recommended. Members also get facility of bud testing for this purpose society has a well expert staff. Farmer has take the Benefit & Improve the Quality of Grapes.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT:

Society has developed a small plot for conducting research trials about problems faced by farmer members and to solve the problems. The Thompson variety has grafted on rootstock Bangalore Dogridge. For minimizing Labour cost society has developed a W system of training.

STUDY TOUR:

Society arranges study tour for grower members to National Research Centre for Grapes, Pune and to different quality grape growing location in India so that they get enthusiastic information about quality grapes production.
